About BLUEGUARD ACADEMY

BLUEGUARD ACADEMY trains lifeguards and scuba rescue professionals who can actually perform under pressure — not just pass a written exam. Every course is taught by instructors who still work open-water rescue and lifeguard shifts themselves.

We built this academy around one gap we kept seeing: certification mills that push students through in a weekend without enough real water time. Our courses run longer, with smaller instructor-to-student ratios, because rescue skills only stick when they're practiced under realistic conditions.

Who We Train

Aspiring lifeguards, certified divers moving into rescue-level training, and dive professionals pursuing instructor development. We also run refresher courses for currently certified lifeguards renewing credentials.

Our Standards

All programs align with nationally recognized lifeguard and scuba rescue certification standards, with hands-on assessment before any certificate is issued.
